Description

As a HR Business & Talent Partner you will exemplify our cultural norms and directly impact the future growth of Ascentis. In this role you will be responsible for one or more business lines where you will partner with leaders to fulfill their talent acquisition, employee development, employee relations and talent planning initiatives to effectively scale the business. You play a crucial role in successfully executing the Ascentis 2019 Culture Imperatives and Must Win Battles.

Cultural Norms:

What are the general responsibilities of the position?

  • Champion Ascentis Cultural Norms in all aspects of your role.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Ascentis leadership to execute Culture Imperative and the organizations strategic objectives.
  • Drive full cycle recruiting activities within business line including: sourcing, posting positions, interviewing, driving interview process, extending offers, pre-boarding and assessing external and internal talent.
  • Partner with leaders on talent planning including: replacement/growth roles, talent reviews, bench marking and succession planning.
  • Contribute to HR Team strategic imperatives and must win battles.
  • Coaches business leaders through career pathing and competency development associated with their job families.
  • Meet with leaders at all levels on a cadence to consistently align business lines/teams with cultural norms, imperatives and must win battles.
  • Seen as a go to for employee relations, career development and general HR SME for all Ascentis employees.
  • Create and ensure continuous improvement of employee training and professional development.
  • Establish strategies and practices that drive employee engagement in offices and remote work environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and HR to continuously develop and expand the Ascentis Employer Brand.
  • Execute Campus Strategy as it aligns with your business line(s).
  • Partner with Finance and department heads to continuously align budget planning & analysis.
  • Assist with merger and acquisition personnel onboarding.
  • Effectively leverage Ascentis Technology solutions.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting as needed.
 
Position Requirements

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in growing organization(s)
  • Proven experience as a valued partner to the business with the ability to positively influence others
  • Keen business acumen and understanding of various roles within organizations
  • Self-starter who can prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively with attention to detail and quality
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Cross-functional collaborator that leverages others to get to the best result
  • Exceptional communication skills and the willingness to provide help and resources wherever possible.
  • Ability to lead and/or contribute to internal and cross-department projects
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and conflict resolution skills
  • Must have an aptitude for technology and be willing to employ solutions that create greater efficiencies and effectiveness
