This role helps create the brand for Grand Casinos as a great place to work and quite often may be the first person to interact with potential candidates who are inquiring about open positions, or being scheduled for interviews. The individual in this role will share a level of excitement and a welcoming tone towards all potential candidates and internal Associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
? The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team
? Arrange in-person or phone interviews between managers and candidates
? Manager the candidate background check process (email applications, received/distribute completed reports.
? Arrange pre-employment details (physicals and other applicable tests)
? Make all necessary correspondence to candidates and hiring managers (interviewing feedback, rejection notices, pre-employment communication)
? Enter candidate and new hire information into HRIS/Applicant Tracking System and monitor approvals/onboarding process
? Update new hire records in our HRIS/Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
? Manager the new hire notification process informing all new Associates start dates
? Order needed Talent Team technology for new hires via the online IT/Help Desk service
? Enter position requisitions in the ATS
? Assist in scheduling of Orientations as needed
? Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
? Additional duties as assigned and necessary for changing business needs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
? High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or pass our basic skills assessment.
? Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with six months experience working in these systems.
? If required, must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
? Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.
? Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
? Responsible for following all relevant DGRs.
? Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group situations, and to moderate-sized gatherings of associates, executives and/or community leaders.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference.
? Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.
