Responsible for researching and gathering information for tax issues (e.g., delinquent tax law suits, delinquent and/or missing tax bills). Intermediate level role requiring high skill with extensive proficiency. Works independently with only administrative supervision and the ability to overcome major obstacles and recognize early when issues should be escalated or a senior peer needs to be consulted. Wide latitude for independent judgment and is expected to provide guidance or cross-training to others. The Lead TSR Researcher assists Supervisor in the planning, scheduling and completing all work within customer specified SLA. Research Analyzes legal descriptions/Metes and Bound/plats and compare to tax maps to confirm and validate identity of property. Researchers and gathers information for tax issues, e.g., delinquent tax law suites, delinquent and/or missing tax bills. Investigates and reports property value and/or property exemption discrepancies. Maintains awareness of property tax law changes. Conducts research for claims. Manages new orders and pending queue items following LERETA's SOP. Performs normal customer support functions. Documents client information and recurring issues to support product quality programs and product development. Processing Requests media checks from Corporate Accounting for data. Updates and maintains media logs. Requests file layouts from data providers. Orders appraisal and tax data files as necessary. Downloads data files via appropriate method. Data Entry Transfers data obtain over phone, fax, e-mail to LERETA's TSR production and reporting system. Completes data entry received from the tax collectors.   Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
