Description

The Ascentis Channel Sales team is made up of driven sales professionals who came to Ascentis to make a direct impact in a fast-paced, growing organization. The Partner Manager will drive growth through identifying new referral partner relationships through which they would create and build sales opportunities that our field account executives can pursue. Centered around our cultural norms, you will be a key contributor to the growth of Ascentis in the $18 billion HCM industry.

Cultural Norms:

What are the general responsibilities of the position?

  • Work as an internal advocate on the Referral Partner’s behalf, educating the Ascentis sales teams on how best to serve their prospective clients.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on the commercial insurance and benefit broker channel, develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, our differentiators, and the technical aspects of the HCM marketplace.
  • Create plans, programs, campaigns and content that educates the Referral Partners on Ascentis HCM solutions, communicating the values and differentiators that Ascentis is able to bring to prospective clients.
  • Work with Marketing to customize product collateral to specific Referral Partner needs.
  • Create or curate Referral Partner collateral and educational content that keeps Ascentis top of mind with targeted partners.
  • Support coordination of meet & greet events, business planning sessions, educational webinars and demonstrations with Referral Partners in the region.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities in Salesforce (prospecting, sales calls, presentations, referrals).
  • Support field with local industry and association involvement.
 
Position Requirements

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of customer facing, relationship driven sales experience
  • 2+ years of successful referral partner sales experience in SaaS, HCM or on demand application software required
  • Ability to build rapport, establish trust and credibility through a consultative approach
  • Attention to details and assertive sales follow-up
  • Strong self-starter with the desire and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced quickly changing environment; a fast learner and able to create unique business solutions; a natural-born leader and pioneer willing to explore new markets and ideas.
