About the Job

Dassault Falcon Jet one of the most sought after brands in business aviation, has an exciting career opportunity for a 3D Visual Designer/Animator located in our headquarters in Little Ferry, New Jersey. Working under the guidance of a Lead, 3D Visual Designer/Animator, the 3D Visual Designer/Animator is required to create a high level quality photorealistic renderings of interior of the Falcon Aircrafts; modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering by utilizing 3ds Max with V-ray. Create renderings/animations for VR/AR.

Responsibilities

  • Build 3D Aircraft Interior Components (e.g. Seats, Bulkheads, Cabinets, etc.) utilizing 3ds Max
  • Generate high quality photo-realistic 3D image renderings
  • Create and provide 3D visual effect for interior aircraft components for use in the interior finishing specification (i.e. seat upholstery styling, bulkhead treatments/design, and carpet designs)
  • Maintains 3D Aircraft Component Library
  • Maintains the integrity of the computer hardware and software.
  • Perform Windows Administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

  • B. A. / B.F.A. in Computer Animation
  • Three (3) years of 3ds Max (2016 Version or latest)
  • Proficient with all aspects of 3ds Max
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Color sensibilities are a must
  • Experience with 3rd party rendering tools, V-ray
  • Proficient with Unity is a must
  • Must be able to work on all aspects of a shot: Modeling, Texturing, Lighting,
  • Animation, Rigging
  • Must be able to manage render times while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Communicate effectively
  • Adobe, Photoshop and Illustrator a must

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Strong multi-tasking ability and work under deadlines
  • Self-motivated problem solver
  • CATIA V5 Photo Studio experience a plus
  • Aeronautical knowledge a plus
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of importing and exporting 3D data across different platforms
  • Resourceful with excellent follow-through skills
  • Experience working with Windows Environment

Working Conditions

  • Extensive Computer work
  • Travel as required
