Share Email Opening Title Public Relations Coordinator  Description U.S. News & World Report is seeking a public relations coordinator to support the PR & Communications team in executing PR efforts across the company. The primary duty of this full-time position is to support communications for Money, Travel and Autos channels at U.S. News. The ideal candidate will have a background in media relations and/or journalism.This individual must be a team player, take initiative and be willing to run projects from start to finish independently. Excellent writing and communications skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines are critical for success in this position. Requirements: 1+ years of media relations experience Strong research and writing skills Knowledge of social media platforms Excellent inter-personal skills, effective communicator and team member Initiative, able to work independently Ability to prioritize and plan effectively A college degree or equivalent   Position Requirements Responsibilities Include: Develop communications campaigns to support the major franchise rankings products in the Money, Travel and Autos channels Develop relationships with key media; pitch media Write and distribute press releases, fact sheets Respond to information queries and requests from media and institutions Draft awards submissions and corporate announcements Build and update media contact databases Build PR reports Applicants must provide one writing sample in addition to a resume and cover letter.
