About the Organization  

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead business development, client service management, and strategic marketing for the ATC Louisville office within Kentucky and the Louisville region. Develop and extend both new and existing client relationships within the environmental compliance, due diligence, geotechnical engineering, industrial hygiene, construction, and building science service sectors.
  • Participate extensively in regional professional networking, government, and technical organizations as a representative of ATC. Develop strong relationships to become a leader in industry organizations and events.
  • Ensure superior client service and technical performance on projects/programs, and perform project/program work in a technical role in core areas.
  • Collaborate with local ATC technical personnel to develop and implement short and long-term strategies that contribute to ATC’s continued growth within Kentucky.
  • Advise and direct local ATC technical personnel as to available business development and career/personal development opportunities, and encourage participation.
  • Coordinate responses to bid opportunities and proposal requests. Update and organize standard components such as statements of qualifications, resumes, service descriptions, etc.
  • Implement Business Development Plan, and engage local and regional ATC personnel where needed.
  • Abide by and emphasize ATC’s health and safety policies and procedures.
Position Requirements

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in business, marketing, engineering, environmental science, geology, chemistry, biology, and/or a related field.
  • Business development experience and technical knowledge within several or all of the following sectors: environmental compliance, site characterization and remediation, due diligence, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, construction, health and safety, building science, and industrial hygiene.
  • Ten-plus years of progressive EHS compliance, business development, and client management experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in support of internal and external business development.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends, and travel regionally, overnight, and for special events as needed.
  • A valid driver’s license, ability pass a driver background check, and ability to comply with ATC motor vehicle operation policies.
