Our Team:

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing sales in a designated territory by maintaining professional relationships with the region's accounts and providing exceptional customer support

What you will be doing:

Essential Functions:

  • Meet or exceed quotas for sales calls on daily, weekly and monthly bases.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and any other bonus goals established for designated territory.
  • Enter orders and all account information accurately into sales database.
  • Execute specific sales objectives and promotions provided by management that increase the value of the Company's partnerships.
  • Conduct customer analysis and assess sales information and data using a variety of sources; analyze sales volume, opportunities, goals, etc.
  • Communicate national and regional promotions to store level buyers and managers.
  • Maintain familiarity with product line-up, as well as participate in various educational activities that enhance ability to explain selling points of all products.
  • Develop/execute merchandising strategies with stores based on national & regional promotions.
  • Leverage promotional spend effectively with top accounts by assessing ROI.
  • Identify cross-merchandising opportunities throughout the store and work with buyers, department managers, and store leadership to implement placement throughout the store.
  • Develop and execute sales plans consistent with Company objectives in the defined territory.
  • Manage customer expectations regarding shipping lead times.
  • Develop and maintain business partnerships with management and buyers in assigned territory.
  • Build relationships with and provide exceptional customer service to retailers.
  • Use creativity and persistence in managing assigned region to achieve results.
  • Seek out new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and Company goals.

What you will bring to the team:

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years' professional sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals/quotas, gaining new distribution and maximizing sales with existing accounts.
  • Experience receiving and soliciting sales over the phone.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
