Perform a variety of payroll tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Function effectively as part of an accounting team by demonstrating the ability and willingness to achieve department goals while remaining in compliance with all policies and procedures.


  • Audit payrolls each pay period for various locations as assigned by the Payroll Supervisor.
  • Perform a variety of audit activities including, but not limited to:
  • Review semi-monthly payroll timecards to payroll transmittals for accuracy and completeness (i.e., meal penalties, overtime, double time, etc.)
  • Ensure all payroll related items are received each and every pay period from all locations per policy (i.e., Signed timecards, GM approval, payroll transmittal, etc.).
  • Ensure internal audit compliance related to payroll policies/procedures at each location.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy as provided by the Director of Human Resources.
  • Be a willing member of Basecamp Hospitality, performing all duties and functions as assigned to the best of his/her ability.

Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all data/information related to specific job assignments and Basecamp Hospitality in general.

Position Requirements



  • High school education.
  • General background in the hospitality or retail industry.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in payroll.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ten-key by touch.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year record.


  • College level accounting education or degree.
