Under the direction of the Customer Projects Manager, responsible for driving projects to successful conclusions. Monitors schedules, budgets, personnel staffing and quality of performance. Responsible for scheduling employees, assigning tasks, evaluating employee performance, monitoring employees’ attendance/tardiness and recommending discipline of employees where necessary for conduct violations. Will participate in hiring, promotional and termination decisions and grievance proceedings involving or otherwise affecting bargaining unit employees. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supporting external compliance requirements as they apply to work under his/her supervision, including FAA and Environmental, Health and Safety. Correct and update logged work time for employees in preparation of payroll ensuring accuracy. Evaluate need for and assign overtime to bargaining unit employees where necessary. He or she will investigate and resolve customer complaints and billing disputes with Project Managers and will collaborate with Project Managers on preparation of quotes for additional items identified during customer visit. Monitor milestones to ensure the work scope remains on track and develop recovery plans when the work scope goes off track. May travel to customer locations to establish and/or maintain good working relationships and generate sales. Monitor pricing and pricing procedures and provide recommendations to Sales for program pricing issues. |
