We are seeking a DYNAMIC, HANDS-ON, ORGANIZED, PEOPLE PERSON to coordinate our amazing team of Medical Assistants and support clinic operations. You'll use your experience and skill in medical assistance, your thirst for continuous learning, to train and develop your staff. You'll model a strong patient-focus and excellent communication to set the standard for your employees. Our Medical Assistant Coordinator is a crucial member of the clinical team and is responsible for the direct management of the daily workload of the Medical Assistants (MA). The coordinator functions as a vital liaison to link the sharing of information between management and providers within the clinic environment and integrating the practices of the front and back office staff. RMA/CMA/CMAS strongly preferred. 4 or more years of progressively responsible experience 2 years experience demonstrating leadership and proficiency in the daily MA workload Bilingual Proficient in Medical Terminology (Electronic Health Records (EHR) Prior supervision preferred Specialized training as a Laboratory Assistant, BLS, CPR, EKG operations preferred   About the Organization Northern Nevada HOPES is a nonprofit community health center in downtown Reno, NV that offers integrated medical care and wellness services.
