Aircraft Weapons Systems Engineer 

Description

Supporting the weapon systems integrations with adding new capabilities such as armaments, EO/IR sensors, radars, data links, and strategic surveillance avionics. Ability to create system architectures, generate interface documentation and produce specifications consisting of system requirements.

 
Position Requirements

A B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and a minimum of five years of specific integration experience is desired. An in-depth understanding of systems engineering processes for developing, tracing, reviewing and verifying requirements is required. Familiarity with interfaces such as MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760 and ethernet are important for this position. Knowledge of aircraft integration and specific experience integrating weapons systems onto aircraft is preferred. The incumbent will be working with small integration teams on quick reaction projects. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
