SUMMARY: Provides Communication system and software application design, installation, programming, and maintenance support services to Allen's clients. Allen Corporation is an Authorized Business Partner of Mitel Networks. Projects may include short and/or long term service support in addition to installation and upgrades. Responsibilities will be carried out on-site at the client's location. Service and support may necessitate after hours schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Provide on-site technical support and software assistance;
• Troubleshoot and support full service telephony systems; PBX, Voicemail, & Contact Center
• Provide service, installation and integration services;
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience and Certifications on Mitel systems are required or must be attained. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates degree with 2 + years of experience. Five years experience can be substituted for education. Mitel Certifications will be considered in lieu of education.
SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE: The following certifications are required: PBX and VOIP specific product and application certifications. Mitel certifications will be strongly considered.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Analytical thinking;• Diagnostic and troubleshooting of customer systems;• Must be self-directed and have the ability to work independently without supervision;• Problem solving skills for complex technological systems;• Must have an intricate working knowledge of PBX hardware and software, IP telephony services and devices, and diagnostic testing equipment.
