Professional Development Coordinator

Summary

Works in partnership with the Program Director to successfully implement the Foundation's fellowship programs. He/she will provide day-to-day operation of education and professional development activities for fellows.

  1. Works closely with the Executive Director, the Program Director, and staff to develop, articulate, and implement training and professional development-related organizational strategy for fellowship recipients.
  2. Identifies best practices in developing and implementing improved and new programming and internal systems.
  3. Develops and manages the NBCC Foundation Webinar Series and serves as the moderator for each webinar.
  4. Works closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to assist in coordinating and monitoring mentor-mentee relationships for fellowship recipients.
  5. Works with fellowship awardees on their Individual Fellowship Plans.
  6. Works with the Communications Department on marketing content for webinars, other trainings, and professional development products.
  7. Assists with management of the NBCC Foundation's Continuing Education approvals for NBCC Foundation-hosted training, education, and events.
  8. Manages the development of educational and professional development materials and products with the Program Director staff, leadership, and other contracted persons.
  9. Maintains a working knowledge of the NBCC Foundation's training and professional development-related policies.
  10. Manages special projects as directed by the Executive Director or Program Director.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
