Sage ATC is seeking experienced air quality and multi-media environmental professionals to join our environmental consulting team as a Project Manager in our Denver, Colorado office. Qualified candidates looking for a fast-paced collaborative and entrepreneurial working environment should have 4 to 10+ years experience in the air quality and regulatory compliance fields. Candidates should hold minimum 4-year degree from an accredited university in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Scientist or related field.
Project Managers (PMs) are key individuals within the company that are seen as environmental professionals with extensive knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements for a variety of industries including petrochemical, oil & gas upstream, midstream and refining, storage terminal and manufacturing sectors. PM's will work directly with Client Service Managers (CSMs) to define and execute project scope, schedule and budget to exceed our client's expectations. PMs orchestrate the production and delivery of major and minor source air permits, air quality dispersion modeling reports, regulatory driven environmental reports and compliance programs, stormwater pollution prevention plans, spill prevention plans across multiple states. Successful candidates enjoy mentoring junior staff, managing multiple projects and interfacing with clients on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
> Re part of team environment and work directly with Client Service Managers to develop and execute projects
> Strong working knowledge of air quality regulations and technical skills (e.g., permitting, emissions reporting, auditing, etc.) relative to projects
> Knowledgeable on State and Federal (NSPS, NESHAP, MACT) regulatory requirements
> Self-manage multiple projects and mentor technical staff
> Execute scope, schedule and budget for each project
> Prepare and oversee the development major and minor air permit applications (New Source Review, Title V, and state permits) and related air quality dispersion modeling
> Lead State and Federal regulatory compliance evaluations / audits
> Lead the preparation of annual compliance reports (Title V Semi-Annual Monitoring reports, Annual Compliance Certifications, and emissions inventories)
> Lead the delivery of spill prevention and stormwater pollution prevention plans
> Develop and maintain key relationships with clients
> B.S. in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
> Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint
> Technical / Report writing
