Specialists are responsible for the accountability and safekeeping, appropriate handling, and care of items in storage within the warehouse. They, also participates in cycle counting and periodic inventories using hand held devices to maintain proper inventory control. As needed this individual will also provide support to the integration team in the hardware and software integration of components to create kits and system sets. This is a specialized job wherein employees are required excess great care and attention to detail in the excision of their delegated tasks and the handling stock. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILIties: Process all inbound and outbound shipment, ensuring accountability of all stock is maintain in Warehouse Automated System. Examine contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy and condition of incoming and outgoing shipment and report any discrepancies. Organize the stocking and proper storage of all goods and materials of the warehouse. Conduct cycle counts and inventories of warehouse stock and report all discrepancies to Warehouse Manager. Pack and label warehouse inventory to ensure proper identification of stock to include the use of Automatic Identification Technology devises. Re-warehouse stock to ensure efficient use space and maintain accountability. Assist in the selection, picking, assembling of items, and packing to create kits and systems sets. Report damage and loss of inventory to Warehouse Manager. Conduct regular checks and operator maintenance of warehouse material handle equipment and report any issues to Warehouse manager. Perform warehouse house keep to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained. Work in accord with all the safety regulations of the warehouse. Efficiently carry out all directions of supervisor. Coordinate all work functions with supervisor, co-workers and other departments. Support other facility missions as assigned. Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis. Ability to lift computes and move heavy serves (50 lbs). May require use of hand operated lift and MHE equipment. Work is performed in a warehouse environment and the noise level is moderate to loud.   Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment. Knowledge of warehousing and distribution procedure and practices. US Army / US Military warehouse and stock accounting procedures preferred. Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company. Ability to work in a team.
