Share Email Opening Title Payroll Specialist  We are RMC None Specified  Position Requirements The position of Payroll Specialist requires the following: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in data entry is ideal Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred Great attention to detail Knowledge of payroll procedures is a plus Intermediate+ MS Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, etc.) Working knowledge of MS Outlook & Word Certified payroll processing is preferred Previous experience with Sage Contractor 100 (Master Builder) a plus Working conditions for this position include but are not limited to the following: Continuous sitting and typing   Description The Payroll Specialist will require a strong attention to detail. They will handle the weekly entry of timecards, as well as the weekly creation of certified payroll reports. The Payroll Specialist will monitor and maintain prevailing wage rates, to make certain we remain in compliance with state and federal regulations. They may perform other basic clerical duties associated with payroll. Core responsibilities for this position are as follows: Payroll Accurately and timely entering time and attendance records and may include checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards Applying established knowledge of payroll rules and regulations Weekly processing of payroll taxes May be asked to help with other payroll related duties, including quarterly and annual payroll tax filings and monthly processing of commission payments Prevailing Wage Manage the preparation, submission and labor compliance of all certified payroll reports for prevailing wage projects Manage the compliance of our temporary staffing agencies and subcontractors Monitor and update Federal and State prevailing wage rates in Master Builder Identify projects required for apprenticeship requests Manage and create invoices for training fund payments   Additional Information   Location Corporate (Hayward, CA)   Territory   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Req Number ACC-18-00005   About the Organization Restoration Management Company, Northern California's largest emergency service / restoration company is a growing, profitable, privately held company headquartered in Livermore, California.
