MADEN TECHNOLOGIES seeks a motivated, experienced full-time Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic corporate team! Based in Arlington, Virginia (Ballston), we are an established, growing company primarily focused on science, technology, and environmental support to the Federal Government.

The Technical Recruiter will timely source, screen, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers. This position is integral to managing company recruiting activities and building candidate relationships, often giving candidates a first impression of the company. Non-conventional, proactive thinkers are encouraged to apply! This is not a do-as-your-told job; we expect you to show initiative and contribute your ideas and expertise to the total team effort.

Experience supporting a Federal Government contractor is a must.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with hiring managers to create accurate job postings
  • Source, assess, and interview potential job candidates
  • Assess and screen — at a "nuts-and-bolts" level — the technical capabilities of a job applicant against job requirements
  • Conduct technical recruiting and sourcing for Federal Government contracts and cleared professionals
  • Build relationships, talent communities, and contacts through proactive calling, social networking, and referral-based networking
  • Conduct contact, candidate, client, and requisition management for the recruitment of technical, professional/executive level, exempt and non-exempt positions across diverse lines of businesses and regions
  • Manage requisitions, facilitate candidate assessment/selection, and develop and execute multiple search strategies that generate desired talent to achieve targeted results
  • Use applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidate pipeline and facilitate corporate compliance with EEO/federal regulations, etc.
  • Maintain responsibility for accurate entry, maintenance, and integrity of data in our ATS
  • Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times with candidates
  • Utilize interview guides and behaviorally targeted interview techniques
  • Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed, such as job fairs
  • Develop relationships with outreach and community organizations
  • Perform compliance activities, to include Human Resource Department audits

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Bachelor Degree in HR or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience, with experience in a Federal Government contracting environment REQUIRED
  • Experience recruiting cleared personnel
  • Be available and willing to work before and after typical office hours, as work may demand
  • Desire to work in a collaborative environment and solicit and give constructive feedback
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities and new technologies, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to build business partnerships by understanding and contributing to the integration of HR initiatives and customer business strategies/objectives
  • Knowledge of ATS and DOL compliance/reporting
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing assignments, priorities, goals/objectives
  • Ability to anticipate organizational HR issues/needs and generate innovative solutions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues and ideas
  • Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Full-cycle recruiting knowledge, experience in proactively generating candidates, and demonstrated project management skills are essential
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, EEO, and AAP
  • Be comfortable communicating unrealistic technical requirements goals to hiring managers
