The internship project includes research on data analytics of energy systems. The successful candidate is expected to develop deep reinforcement learning models for energy assets. The research should result in publications at premier conferences and lay a foundation for product ideas.   Position Requirements • PhD candidate in CS/EE • Knowledge of reinforcement learning, Markov processes, and dynamic programming • Knowledge of deep learning/neural networks, and PyTorch/TensorFlow platforms • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and libraries • Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow • Programming (Python, C++) and system design skills Desired skills: • Understanding of energy systems and energy management solutions • Knowledge of stochastic/deterministic optimization methods • Understanding of battery storage devices operation   This position is currently not accepting applications.
