Description

Position Overview/Responsibilities

This candidate must have the skills/experience to successfully handle the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinates recruiting including interviewing and selection of new hires.
  • Coordinates employment activities with new employee orientation while ensuring supervisory follow-up and development of employees, and conducts exit interviews.
  • Assists with employee relations issues, providing guidance to managers concerning employee relations.
  • Works cross functionally on identifying and executing process improvements including partnering with management to improve the new employee orientation process.
  • Supports employee training and development.
  • Inputs employee new-hire data; status changes, and termination data and co-ordinates for payroll processing
  • Responds to employee benefit questions.
  • Tracks performance review process and provides reports to upper management.
  • Assists with FMLA paperwork and employee leave of absence.
  • Plans and coordinates employee events and activities
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters regarding employees or company information.
  • Maintains and coordinates the maintenance of personnel records.
  • Prepares reports as required.
  • Any other related tasks assigned from time to time.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years in related field.
  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Knowledgeable in HR fundamentals.
  • Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills to include verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work on excel files
  • Should have the working knowledge of various HR applications
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees and other organizations.
