This is a senior management position reporting to the Program Manager (PM) and, in the absence of the PM, the LM shall be designated as the acting PM. The LM shall possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree plus ten (10) years of experience in logistics operations management and shall be knowledgeable of and ability to work a variety of automated systems, processes, procedures, and database formats to include Global Combat Support Systems - Army (GCSS-Army). Position is pending contract/award. This position is located at Fort Hood, Texas and is not open to telecommuting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing senior leadership in logistics planning, implementation and reporting Ensuring logistics support to field and test operations Overseeing warehouse operations including supply and shipping and receiving; Property book management Overseeing vehicle and equipment maintenance Ensuring QC and safety program requirements and plans are properly developed and implemented Developing and submitting monthly logistics reports   Position Requirements Required Skills U.S. Citizenship Required Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics operations management Extensive knowledge of U.S. Army regulations and procedures Thorough understanding of Quality Management and QC processes & procedures Thorough understanding of applicable safety regulations Ability to effectively administer training courses Strong communications & leadership skills Desired Skills/Experience Degree, Course work, or certifications specializing in SCM or Logistics preferred MBA preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven supervisor & team leader with ability to encourage a collaborative environment and team build across the enterprise Experience in managing contractor managed, government owned property Understanding of government audit and inspection organizations Defense Contract Management Agency/Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCMA/DCAA) Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance Submitting application and/or resume authorizes Fiore Industries to include resume in contract/proposal bid.   EOE Statement Fiore Industries, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
