Share Email Opening Title 499 Marketing Promotions Coordinator  Location Leech Lake Gaming   Description POSITION SUMMARY Job Description: Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of promotions, special events and other events. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet with marketing team and other managers on a regular basis to discuss and develop casino, hotel, food & beverage, VIP and other promotions & events. Preparation of promotional concepts and budgets. Monitor implementation of promotions and special events. Visit all sites prior to start of new promotions to ensure everything is set up and ready to implement. Assist with part of Grand Prize drawing nights. Write promotional rules, monthly On Hold copy, and copy for employee information cards. Assist with Earn & Get gift displays. Oversee all aspects of radio and social media promotions. Monitor websites and digital signage to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Attends all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   Position Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must have strong communication and organizational skills. Must have ability to work well with others. Must have great multi-tasking skills. Possess good written communication skills. Ability to work flexible schedules including: weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Must have a valid Class D (or better) Minnesota Driver’s License in possession whenever operating a vehicle PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically capable of sitting for long periods of time. Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment. EDUCATION AND SKILLS Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Experience: Three years (or more) Casino Marketing Experience pertaining to Promotions Computer Skills: Must Have Strong Computer Skills Certificates & Licenses: Must have a valid Class D (or better) Minnesota Driver’s License in possession whenever operating a vehicle.
