Description

Under the direction of the Spares Marketing Manager, the Spares Contracts and Government Account Specialist will be responsible for the day to day management of key Spares' accounts and management and analysis of contracts as they relate to Spares.

  • Responsible for the day to day transaction of key Spares' customers that may include government agencies or large fleet operators
  • Maintain customer contact, proposal status and data information with key Spares Customers
  • Manage all internal communication related to key Spares Customers
  • Responsible for the review, changes and maintenance for all contracts as related to the Spares business. This may include contracts from customers, vendors, partners or any third party what will conduct business with Spares.
  • Coordinate and process all changes related to Spares contracts
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers, vendors or partners and provide information to assist them in status of contract review
  • Administration of all contracts from preparation phase to closing phase which may include distribution of documents to support personnel. This would include filing signed contracts.
  • Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department or business objectives on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years business experience in the corporate aviation industry, preferably in contract management
  • Three (3) years experience working with an Automated Order Entry System
  • Intermediate knowledge of current PC-based business software, preferably Microsoft Office including Access
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical and math skills
  • Exceptional Organizational and follow up skills

Additional Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Siebel
  • Knowledge of aircraft manuals.
  • Advanced Degree in Business (Sales, Marketing, and Finance)
  • A & P license or equivalent
  • Pilot's license
