Description
  • Direct and coordinate activities of Teams to provide Extraordinary Service to customers and meet LERETA's cost, risk, and productivity goals.
  • Ensure all customer and internal tax processing standards are consistently measured, reported, and achieved for each team and reported timely as required
  • Interact with key customer employees to maintain close and productive relationships. Identify customer objectives and ensure that they are consistently met.
  • Represent LERETA Outsourcing at regularly scheduled customer meetings to address weekly production, accuracy, SLAs, procedural and customer concerns.
  • Implement assigned tasks, projects and action plans and manage to completion within set SLAs.
  • Ensure tight control over the company's cash resources, ensure budget is maintained and reported on monthly.
  • Ensure employees are competent, have positive attitudes, and are properly and thoroughly trained.
  • Develop and document workflow procedures and ensure the procedures are implemented and maintained at a quality level.
  • Participate in formulating and administering company policies and develop long range goals and objectives.
  • Review and analyze activities, costs, operations and forecasts of data to ensure that company and customer goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Confer with and provide assistance to other executives and senior managers so that all company goals are met in accordance with its strategic business plan.

Manage the Task Process and Workflow from notification to resolution for multiple lenders

  • Ensure the timely resolution for all Tasks based upon Client Guidelines and Task Listing.
  • Ensure the timely processing of Approvals, Follow Ups and Manual review in Web Task.
  • Ensure processors are following all customer business rules.
  • Reduce or eliminate all losses and penalties to meet set budgetary goals.

Oversee the maintenance, development and implementation of Task technology

  • Manage and maintain integrity of the Web Task System.
  • Lead development and enhancements to Web Task meet on-going needs.
  • Submit timely PSR requests and justifications.
  • Develop training surrounding all technology changes to current systems.

Manage to Task Unit Budgetary Goals

  • Set yearly unit efficiency goals in alignment to company budget goals.
  • Provide monthly recap of budgetary status at EC meetings.
  • Input monthly budget reforecast.
  • Set yearly budgetary forecast.
  • Ensure staffing, resources and projects fall within yearly forecasted budget.

Manage performance of Supervisors and teams

  • Provide and manage weekly, monthly production goals to Supervisors and Teams.
  • Provide and manage weekly, monthly accuracy goals to Supervisors and Teams.
  • Ensure team adherence to all internal and customer SLAs.
  • Communicate monthly performance at operations and EC meetings.
  • Mentor leadership team on on-going basis.

Ensure current understanding of all customer business rules, contracts and procedures

  • Work with compliance to ensure all changes to existing business rules or procedures are understood and communicated to teams.
  • Ensure requirements, SLAs and special instructions are adhered to within department processes.
  • Provide feedback to management on issues or concerns regarding requested changes to current business rules or procedures from customers.

Additional Functions

  • Responsible for data entry, escalating issues, maintaining accurate documentation and following established guidelines to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and achieve department success.
  • Follows established guidelines and identifying opportunities for process improvement to align individual performance with department objectives.
  • Responds to Account Manager or Customers inquiries timely.

This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.

 
Position Requirements

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in managing large units.
  • 3 or more years experience in leading tax servicing or mortgage-related production operations.
  • Specific knowledge of delinquent real estate taxes and tax sales.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • BA or Graduate Degree in business, accounting, tax law, real estate law, etc.
  • 5 or more years experience in a mortgage or servicing tax department with specific knowledge of delinquent real estate taxes and tax sales.
  • Extensive knowledge of mortgage servicing software including, Black Knight MSP, FiServ, FICS, EAS, etc.
