The Director of Marketing is responsible for planning and implementing strategic marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing cliental and new market ventures that grow the business. Oversees and evaluates the industry to keep Augustine Casino competitive.
Interpersonal Skill Set:
Active listening and verbal communications at all levels which is essential to working with teams and supervision of staff. Must demonstrate leadership, integrity and outstanding moral character. Effective communicator verbally and written. Exceptional analytical skills, ability to manage multiple departments.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for directing and supervising all public relations and casino marketing, entertainment, sales and advertising activities within the marketing department. Prepares periodic reports showing financials, trends and growth potential. Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to department budgetary requirements. Directs staffing, training and performance evaluation to develop team.
Education: BA in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 (current) years of proven casino marketing management. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
This position requires mobility, standing, and walking for up to 4 hours or more throughout the casino and property. Must be able to have full function of range and motion, lift up to 25lbs and work in a smoke filled environment.
