As a Transportation Intern, we invite you to become a part of our successful Transportation group! Interested candidates will have the opportunity to partake in a variety of engineering experiences such as traffic study data collection/processing, analysis, computer aided design/drafting (CADD), and report composition under the direction of a licensed Professional Engineer. This internship is a part-time (15-30 hours/week) paid position beginning in January 2019 and extending through May 2019. Alliant can be flexible in working with student class schedules. A full-time (40 hours/week) Summer 2019 internship offer may be extended prior to completion of this part-time internship. Required Qualifications: - In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Coursework in transportation/traffic engineering
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong technical and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience/proficiency utilizing MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software
