Under the supervision of the Sr. Engineer and Facilities Engineer, the Junior Facilities Engineer is a trainee position to support the Facility Team's day to day operation. The Junior Facilities Engineer's will work side by side with a Facilities Engineer assisting them and performing on the job training. Once trained, the Junior Facilities Engineer will need to answer calls, repair equipment, complete inspection, walk throughs and preventative maintenance. Practice effective work safety practices.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work experience requirements
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Needs to be knowledgeable in two or more of the following; HVAC, plumbing, electronics, carpentry, painting, diesel systems, hydraulics, water distribution or treatment, fire suppression systems, kitchen equipment, metal fabrication, landscaping, heavy equipment operation or general trades. Ability to express ideas or make recommendation concerning job related issues; learn specific job duties and complete work assignments. Knowledge of scheduling and inventory control.
Valid Driver's License

80% requires being mobile, prolonged standing, walking, bending over head reaching, climbing ladders and hand eye coordination.
15% communications: verbal, writing, typing, radio or phone usage.
5% transporting, lifting, pulling loads of 50/100 pounds.
