Description

Job Summary

The Lead Cashier assists the Concessions Manager in ensuring that guest service standards are being met in concessions stands and areas. This position is responsible for upholding quality standards for all guest transactions and ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining proper cash and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Ensures exceptional guest service while being a role model for guest service standards.
  • Oversees POS transactions are completed per department standards and the proper control of cash is maintained per company policy within the stand assigned.
  • Assists in training of new cashiers and cross training of staff as needed.
  • Responsible for coordinating cash pulls and assisting with cash pickups.
  • Informs staff about specials, shortages, new products and price changes.
  • Maintains inventory controls, ensures proper inventory procedures are followed and assists with inventory counts and procedures for concessions locations.
  • Communicates with Concessions Manager in regards to ordering product for locations.
  • Ensures that proper sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Assists in ensuring full compliance with all laws, regulations, and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage sales and licenses.
  • Receive and verify delivery of product to locations.
  • Responsible for keeping work areas clean, stocked and well organized.

Secondary:

  • Acts as a positive role model for employees.
  • Selling products and services, cash handling and inventory counts.
  • Provides support for special events as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • 2+ years of experience in food service and/or retail sales
  • Minimum 1-year experience in cash register and inventory operations

Desired

  • Prior hospitality experience
  • Fluent in Spanish
