Description

Under the direction of the Manager, Guaranteed Maintenance & Warranty Programs, the supervisor, falcon care program is responsible for the adjudication of falcon care claims following contractual obligations and doing so in a cost effective and timely manner. This position provides technical expertise to all falcon care program administrators, review and approves claims/invoices taking into account, contractual, technical and commercial consideration in order to fairly represent the true cost of the program.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities (essential functions):

  • Oversee the overall FalconCare process
  • Maintain and update all Falcon care Procedure Manuals
  • Maintain training guidelines for FalconCare program coverage
  • Prepare monthly invoices to FalconCare customers:
  • Use parts sales reports to bill freight and sales taxes
  • Prepare Miscellaneous invoices and credits (i.e. parts ordered incorrectly) and coordinate with account reps.
  • Manages a team of FalconCare program administrator's
  • Properly assign available resources to pending workload
  • Thoroughly review service center invoices and FalconCare customer claims to make sure FalconCare is charged correctly (i.e. request warranty coverage, bill back expense to commercial programs, decline unreasonable charges when applicable).
  • Measure, analyze and report on Falconcare program adjudication turnaround time by service center. Produce statistics to management
  • Alert management for unusual event, parts, maintenance or financially related
  • Participate in Falconcare strategy meetings
  • Maintain the department's policies and procedures
  • Periodically review the department's organization and work assignment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a technical focus (preferably aviation)
  • FAA Airframe and power plant technician license is a plus
  • 10 years aviation maintenance experience
  • Must be detail oriented
  • 1 year in a service organization with claim adjudication experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving
  • Familiar with FAA regulations such as part 145, 91, and 135
  • Proficiency in the use of PC windows business software
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, related to technical and financial issues, with both internal and external customers.

Additional desired qualifications:

  • 5 years' experience adjudicating aircraft maintenance warranty claims
  • Ability to understand French/Spanish

Working conditions:

  • Some travel may be required. Both domestic and international (valid passport)
  • Use of personal computers required
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
