Position Partnership Compliance Specialist

This position exists to increase the capacity of FCBH, to support the work of the Global Partnerships and Language Recording departments and to provide support to the Vision 2033 ministry goals and objectives. This person will assist the Recording Operations Manager, Administrative Director of Global Partnerships, and Intellectual Property Coordinator and others as needed. Responsibilities of this position encompass three areas of activity primarily: 1) Monitoring and fulfilling organizational compliance to intellectual property agreements and other types of agreements; 2) Preparing reports to fulfill partner requirements and expectations; and 3) Providing assistance to department staff responsible for intellectual property agreements and other types of agreements.

  • Monitor organizational compliance to intellectual property (IP) agreements and other agreements by 1) becoming knowledgeable of the various categories of agreements for different ministry activities including but not limited to intellectual property, recording production, digital distribution, FCBH programs, Gospel Films, sales of various kinds, royalty, revenue sharing (partner donation package), etc.; 2) ensuring agreements and activities are properly and accurately tracked by internal systems; 3) ensuring organizational activities properly comply with IP and other agreements through report analysis, staff education and regular spot-checking, e.g. monitoring of digital offerings such as Digital Bible Platform API, website, app, etc.
  • Prepare reports to fulfill partner requirements and expectations by 1) compiling and maintaining a schedule of reports necessary for various partners, including but not limited to data required in IP agreements, data and reports required by partnership agreements, and reports requested on an as-needed basis; 2) capturing, coordinating, organizing and assembling data, testimonies, photos and field reports of various kinds to report to partners; 3) cooperating with GP and LRD staff to ensure partner reporting data is properly filed, compiled, edited and distributed according to a set reporting schedule.
  • Provide assistance in the administration of agreements by 1) assisting the Intellectual Property Rights Coordinator in the preparation and processing of intellectual property agreements/permissions by utilizing pre-approved agreement templates; 2) providing administrative support in the processing, data entry and filing of agreements; 3) fielding inquiries from internal staff about agreements, reports and compliance.
  • Additional responsibilities include participating in permissions function meetings and other meetings related to partner compliance; populating databases, tables and language systems and generating reports to provide Global Partnerships and Language Recording Departments with up to date and necessary information; collaborating with other internal departments to ensure procedures and best practices are functioning in support of agreement and partner compliance; assisting with hospitality for guests.

  1. Administrative assistant experience
  2. Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree or 2 to 5 years’ experience in a related job
  3. Intermediate understanding in preparing and executing legal documents
  4. Training or experience as a paralegal, desirable
  5. Intermediate skills with project coordination
  6. Experience working in a matrix administrative model and with function teams
  7. Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese or other languages a plus
  8. Proficiency in working cross-culturally with a demonstrable understanding and ability to interact effectively in cross-cultural situations
