Description
  • Direct Hire - Starting pay is $16-$18/hour depending on experience + a pay increase after 90 days!
  • EARLY HOURS!!!! FIRST SHIFT - Hours are typically 4AM-2:30PM or 5AM-3:30PM and can vary each week. Must be willing to work overtime on Saturdays as needed.
  • Able to listen to your own music while at work! 
  • 2 weeks of Paid Time Off + 10 paid holidays
     

SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, this position performs any of a variety of functions involved operating wood working machines such as routers, sanders, lathes. Specific duties vary depending on assigned department. This position flexes in relation to the production demand.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operates any one of the machines used in wood working, such as routers, sanders, lathes, and table saws in order to manufacture various types wood table tops.
  • Completes each order accurately and on time.
  • Maintains performs basic preventative maintenance on wood working equipment.
  • Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standards.
  • Works safely and follows all company rules and procedures.
  • Flexibility to provide back up to other positions during peak production times required.
 
Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Functional working knowledge of general hand tools such as D8 sanders, routers, belt sanders, drills, staple guns, glue guns and others.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.  Proper lifting techniques required.
