Mission Statement: HTC is the nation’s largest telecommunications cooperative offering residential and business broadband solutions in one of the nation’s fastest growing markets. The goal of the Cooperative is to improve the quality of life in the community we serve. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in determining product offerings, forecasting and setting customer acquisition goals and evaluating customer acquisition results for the Cooperative’s high-speed internet (broadband) line of business.

Responsibilities: Serves as the primary marketing interface with HTC High-Speed Internet Operations (Engineering and I&R) to develop, recommend and implement product improvements, hardware additions and service enhancements. Identifies opportunities to improve end-user experience. Works with Finance Department to define pricing and promotional structures. Identifies primary messaging on the benefits of HTC High-Speed Internet versus the competition. Works with Communication team and agency partners to develop and execute dynamic strategic and tactical marketing plans. Uses analytic and forecasting skills to develop clearly defined goals for HTC Residential & Business Broadband. Insures timely and accurate reporting of results. Develops and maintains a knowledge base of the revenues and expenses, cash flow, and other financial aspects of the HTC Residential & Business Broadband. Develops and recommends retention programs to retain customers and build customer loyalty. Champions customer service and follow-through for internal and external customers. Helps drive an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork throughout the Cooperative. Stays informed about consumer trends, industry initiatives, regulatory actions and competitive activities. Provides leadership through example. Willingly shares knowledge and insights with team members. Develops marketing analyses for projecting subscriber acquisition, campaign results projections, and line of business forecasting. Develops and presents analytical insight and support associated with marketing tactics. Comfortable with digital media concepts and measurements. Responsible for the achievement of corporate subscriber acquisition objectives, goals, and initiatives set forth by management of the Cooperative. Utilizes analytical software to generate prospect targets. Uses marketing analysis, including (and not limited to): ESRI (ArcGIS and BAO) or related GIS products, PeopleSoft, Business Objects, Google Analytics and the Microsoft Office product suite to evaluate results. Develops and executes regular reporting and dashboard KPIs for HTC Residential & Business Broadband and the Marketing Team. Implements measures to improve cost savings and best use of HTC resources. Assists in maintaining the Cooperative’s membership activities including events and the Annual Meeting. Performs other duties as assigned in order to meet the overall objectives of the Marketing and Strategic Initiatives Department as needed.

Position Requirements

- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent experience. Degree in Marketing, Business/Finance or Mathematics preferred.
- Minimum of four years related experience and/or training in using highly targeted data and business analytics for the evaluation of multi-channel customer acquisition and retention programs.
- Familiarity with product development or project management processes and software.
- Able to initiate and manage complex projects from start to finish. Outlines key steps and decision points in advance.
- Recruits and effectively collaborates with other departmental contacts to build and function as a team in order to achieve specific short-term and long-term goals and product implementation(s).
- Familiarity with third party data resources and assimilation/appending with existing customer data for evaluation and highly targeted marketing communications.
- Possesses excellent problem solving skills. Projects take rates based on previous data and experience.
- Recognizes the definitions of common telecom and marketing jargon, based on the context of the reading materials.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a knowledgeable working experience with the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Outlook. Expected to become proficient in certain software used within HTC, including and not limited to; PeopleSoft, Business Objects, Excel AddIn, SmartView and ESRI.

- Possesses the understanding the fundamentals of telecom and basic processes of outside plant construction, CPE installation, Network construction a plus, not required.
