Reserve Food & Wine (Reserve) opened in September of 2010. The centerpiece of Reserve is the 102 bottle cruvinet which houses bottles of wine and uses nitrogen to preserve wines for up to a six-week shelf life. Our goal at Reserve is to deliver a unique wine and food experience to our guests. We offer a menu that is sourced locally. We strive to find the best available, while highlighting the seasonality of our product. At Reserve, finding the perfect glass of wine to pair with our exemplary menu is the total experience.


Reserve's Beverage Manager leads and ensures an excellent guest drinking experience. This position will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations. The Beverage Manager will manage inventory and resources, plan promotional events, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, and work with vendors. The Beverage Manager reports to the General Manager.


  • Floor manager for service on the floor including expediting, guest contact, managing staff, hosting, pre-shift meetings, staff education, and problem solving.
  • Responsible for overall beverage strategy.
  • Responsible for wine program vision and concept appropriateness, manage inventory levels, and the menu offerings.
  • Conducts all wine tastings and dinners.
  • Oversees liquor inventory and distributor relationships.
  • Manage the business aspects of the bar, such as negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
  • Training staff on drink menu, quality and customer service expectations.
  • Set and enforce safety controls behind the bar.
  • Establish and monitor quality of cocktails.
  • Ensure all bartenders are checking customer's identification and serving guests in accordance with Servesafe standards.
  • Create an excellent guest experience.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.


  • Five or more years in the beverage service industry including two plus years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Previous responsibility of bar and restaurant financials and budgets including analyzing variances and initiating corrective action.
  • High level of standard of excellence and quality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and fellow management team as well as ownership.
  • Knowledge of cost Accounting, developing and maintaining budgets and financial Planning and strategy.
  • Ability to utilize restaurant industry technology such as inventory management, and/or point of sale systems.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
  • Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds.
