Share Email Opening Title Director of Nursing  Category Health Office   Description Bonnie Brae, a Special Education School and Residential Treatment Facility for at risk youth is currently seeking a Director of Nursing to plan, direct, and manage the operations of Bonnie Brae's Health Office to ensure quality of care. The Director of Nursing is a member of the Leadership Team and reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Bonnie Brae's main campus is located in Liberty Corner, New Jersey with community homes in New Brunswick, Bound Brook and Bridgewater, New Jersey. Job Summary: The Director of Nursing is responsible for managing all aspects of Bonnie Brae's Health Office. This includes the scheduling, supervision, hiring, training and evaluation of all nursing staff as well as oversight and direction of all the nursing services provided at the agency. Works collaboratively with direct reports, Leadership and other departments to maximize current resources and identify areas for growth. Ensures Nursing Department compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Develops and implements policies and procedures for nursing care of residents. Ensures maintenance of records and reports for resident care. Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree preferred. Current RN Licensure in the State of New Jersey required. Specialty certification in nursing administration is preferred. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities / Experience: Management experience, preferably in a behavioral health agency. Supervision, staff management, mentoring, and training skills. Patient care experience with at risk youth in an inpatient, residential or similar setting. Valid Driver's License - has not been suspended during the previous three years due to accidents or moving violations.
