Environmental Field Technician - Miami, FL

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • ATC is currently seeking a candidate to fill an immediate full-time opening to perform the following:
    • Environmental soil and groundwater sampling
    • Remedial equipment operations and maintenance
    • Data processing and tabulation.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and accurately prepare field reports in accordance with
    ATC's report standards and applicable codes.
  • Abide by ATC's health and safety policies and procedures.
Position Requirements

Basic qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience performing work within this field.
  • Must be familiar with FDEP soil and groundwater sampling SOPs and general industry safety protocol.
  • Must have current 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPPER training.

Desired qualifications:

  • A B.S. degree in environmental science or geology is desirable.
  • Fluent in English (oral/written); Basic computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently, detail oriented, resourceful
