Description

Successfully acquires, maintains and validates LERETA's proprietary tax agency information. This position will also establish and maintain high quality relationships between LERETA and the taxing jurisdictions and agencies and be knowledgeable on each agency's specific requirements as well as LERETA's departmental processes.

Agency Systems Management:

  • Researches and analyzes data, business requirements, and reports to document accurate information for all LERETA agency systems.
  • Reviews agency trending to identify processing gaps and recommend business improvement solutions.
  • Manages and updates diverse reports and systems to track agency data.
  • Creates and analyzes agency systems reports as needed, and reviews control reports daily.
  • Completes research and follow-up on all agency systems change requests.
  • Maintains current knowledge of State and Local Mortgage tax requirements.
  • Organizes and prioritize to ensure timely completion of daily assigned tasks.
  • Performs other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by Management.

Leadership:

  • Communicates with appropriate Business Units and works with various resources to review history and business requirements. Provides feedback as needed.
  • Maintains performance standard for quality and productivity required for this position.
  • Provides peer training, support and mentoring as requested by Management.
  • Assists other team members as needed.
  • Contributes to the development of procedures and/or processing.
  • Shares accountability with team for delivering service and quality to clients.

Strategic Support:

  • Confers with and provides assistance to other LERETA employees.
  • Participates in formulating and administering company policies and develop long range goals and objectives.
  • Supports, leads, and provides updates for other strategic and operational projects as assigned by Management.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline.
  • 5 years’ experience in mortgage servicing industry.
  • Leadership experience with or without at least 3 direct reports and /or 10 indirect staff.
