The Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic will support Vehicle Maintenance Manager in maintaining and repairing the vehicle and equipment fleet in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations and the Dodge Ridge Maintenance Program. This position requires a competent mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting of various machinery and components, performing all tasks with a safety-first attitude. This position will also provide support to other maintenance projects such as Lift and Facility Maintenance. This position is a KEY member of the Dodge Ridge Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of Supervisor:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of the Dodge Ridge vehicle and equipment fleet.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
- As directed perform diagnostic tests and trouble shoot to determine cause of malfunctions. Perform repairs to electrical systems including starting, lights, wiring, switches and engine controls; perform tune-ups and performance tests.
4.Keep detailed, accurate work logs and records of daily, weekly, and monthly repairs and preventative maintenance.
5.Knowledge of all repair manuals and maintenance information.
6.Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventory and conserve resources by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate equipment, parts and supplies and using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
7.Meet service level objectives and department standards as set forth by immediate supervisor
8.Responsible use and care of radio equipment.
9.Assist with other maintenance projects as directed.
