Description

To support LERETA, LLC in achieving successful Tax and Outsourcing Services by leading the Tax Line Setup and Tax Line Audit team members in accordance with the company's and its customers' objectives and service levels. The TLS/TLA Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations of the Tax Line Setup and Tax Line Audit area. Sets standards and ensure employees adhere to established practices and proper training of staff. Prepare related reports and audits current procedures to monitor efficiency of operations. Ensure employees understand the business unit's primary goal is to provide the highest quality service possible to all of our customers.

Tax Line Set Up

  • Analyzes conversion data and complete tax line information using business rules agreed upon by lender.
  • Performs research and assignment of taxing authorities and assist with the update of agency cross references for conversions.
  • Interacts with operational teams to ensure communication is clear when it relates to the status of loans received through and acquisition file from a prior servicer.
  • Performs quality management or other special assignments as requested.
  • Documents and communicate acquisition file issues with the lender for resolution.
  • Maintains customer business rule tables to ensure tax lines are set up properly.
  • Works with all operational teams to ensure tax lines set up receive timely payment.

Tax Line Audit

  • Performs research and resolution for assigned audit exception branch items through searching methods, contacting agencies via telephone and or written correspondence, maps or Internet searches.
  • Keeps apprised of branch reporting calendar and branch issues relating to conversion/audit items.
  • Creates agency cross reference file to use in conjunction with our TED (Tax Escrow Disbursement) product.
  • Reviews and trouble shoot system errors to determine the required fix and communicate with IT team.
  • Provides weekly/monthly update on audit issues relating to training with all operational teams.
  • Monitors and assigns daily files to ensure completion by SLA.

Quality Control

  • Performs Quality Assurance (QA) in work queues, Excel spreadsheets and other applicable formats.
  • Applies and supports the implementation of new or modified policy and procedures as instructed to ensure Tax Line Set up/Audit standards.
  • Accurately prepares production/statistical reports as applicable.
  • Coaches, trains and mentors direct reports, provide opportunities for employee development.

Workflow Management

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of TLS/TLA Teams to provide Extraordinary Service to customers and meet LERETA's cost, risk and productivity goals.
  • Ensures all customer TLS/TLA processing standards are consistently measured, reported and achieved for each team.
  • Interacts with key customer employees to maintain close and productive relationships. Identify customer objectives and ensure that they are consistently met by setting up metrics and goals for the staff.
  • Implements assigned Action Plans in a successful and timely manner; provide reports to show progress on Action Plans.
 
Position Requirements
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel 2007, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access 97.
  • Experience in AS400.
  • Experience in MSP, FiServ, and MortgageServ Servicing Systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one to three years experience with tax agencies, tax searching methods as well as loan servicing procedures.
  • Data Entry/Computer experience.
