These companies are diversified and committed to growth. Position We are currently seeking a high energy, self-motivated and driven Assistant Manager to grow sales in our established location. Our Customer Solution Center is located on Murphy Rd in Hartford, CT. Flooring sales experience is a plus, but is not necessary for this position. Responsibilities Achieve profit, inventory and customer satisfaction goals by waiting on customers at the counter Taking and entering customer orders accurately and efficiently in person, over the phone or electronically Formulate pricing policies on merchandise according to requirements for profitability of branch operations Promote branch activities and functions via social media Coordinate sales promotion activities and prepares merchandise displays Work closely with branch manager to assist with supervising and developing the team, and have direct oversite of the branch and team members while the branch manager is not available Orders material to replenish stock on hand Supports outside sales as required to meet business demands Communicate order status updates to the customer Picking and loading customer orders as needed Maintain a clean and orderly facility Other branch duties as may be required |
