This position is responsible for the efficient operation of the Security Department on assigned shift, in
accordance with the company's established policies, procedures and controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Implements departmental and company policies and procedures, then trains, schedules, supervises and
evaluates Security Officers on assigned shift.
Provides input for procedure manuals, and is responsible for the accurate documentation of all information
and report completion on the assigned shift
Acts as a representative of the company, interacting with Guests and Associates in a courteous,
Patrols all entities and properties under the control of the Corporate Commission of the Mille Lacs Band, on
assigned shift, identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate
individual, to ensure the safety and protection of Guests, Associates.
Ensure the safety of Guests and Associate during assigned shift.
Acts as back-up to Security Officers on assigned shift, and assumes their duties when necessary.
Maintains a working knowledge of casino complex and outlying properties, as well as special events, in
order to advise Guests and fellow Associates of same, whenever possible.
Assists in the daily operations of the Security Department.
Facilitates the flow of information throughout the casino complex and outlying properties by attending
regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and
Assist with the presentation Crisis Management training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for supervising security staff on assigned shift.
Responsible for timely completion of performance reviews
Manage staff members as defined by the organizational structure. Providing guidance and leadership for
the department. Hire, train and develop Associates. Coach, counsel or separate Associates from
employment as needed
