Apollo Medical Extrusion Technologies is the premier developer and manufacturer of catheter technologies. Our Oceanside, California Catheter Development and Production groups consistently meet the tight dimensional tolerances, and performance specifications required by medical device manufacturers. We are knowledgeable and experienced in a broad spectrum of catheter applications including cardiovascular, neuromuscular, diabetes management, and structural heart. Apollo provides customers with custom catheters including braid reinforced, coil reinforced, multi-lumen, and multi-durometer designs, with the capability of adding deflectable tips, pad printing, and custom tip geometries. Apollo supports clients from their early design stages, providing quick turn-around times for speedy prototyping, design refinement and Pilot Production, and scale up into manufacturing. Apollos Utah facility specializes in large scale catheter manufacturing, Micro-bore Extrusion, Coextrusion, and multi-lumen tubing of complex geometries and tight tolerances.

SUMMARY: Attributes required for this position include ability to follow instructions, meet schedules and priorities, have excellent attention to detail, initiative, work well within a team, and have the ability to produce consistently high-quality results. For entry level, we will train employees with good mechanical aptitude and work ethic.

 
Position Requirements
  • Reading and interpreting manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures and comply with their requirements. All documents are in English only.
  • Assembly of catheters in clean room.
  • Ability to learn new equipment and processes, and quickly demonstrate proficiency in their operation.
  • Document material transfers, completion of manufacturing steps and verifications.
  • Ensure that processes and materials are in compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Maintain clean room area per procedures.
  • Training of future assemblers on procedures.
  • Build medical product assemblies with a level of quality, consistency, and speed to meet the design specifications and production schedules.
  • Ability to evaluate personal workspace, equipment, and tooling to ensure it is in compliance with specifications and procedures.
  • Operation of all equipment including but not limited to Split die, Braider, Laminator, Pad Printer, RF Tipper, Coiler.
  • All other duties as assigned.
