Description

Scope of the Role

Reports to the Shift Supervisor. Responsible for packaging of all finished products for the upper medical room. Employees work three 12-hour shifts one week and foour 12 hour shifts the next week each pay period (8 regular hours and 4 overtime hours each day worked)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Material movement (bar code scanning) is completed accurately.
  • Finished goods packaging
  • Tack mats replaced and cleaned daily
  • Tool board check list is completed each day
  • Ensure finished goods are properly labeled, tagged and transferred to the warehouse on correct pallets.
  • Packaging and Material areas are clean and organized.
  • Outside packaging area is properly maintained.
  • All garbage is emptied.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) before starting work, to include: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and face shields, etc.
  • Assist the Receiving Department with the proper storage of materials.
  • Ensure effective communication with Operators and Leads.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by Management.
