Job Summary:

The Seasonal Digital Coordinator is a full-time, seasonal position in support of the 91st Oscars. The Coordinator will organize and track projects through the editorial and production timeline for Oscar season. They will coordinate resources between departments and represent the digital team in internal and external meetings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for metrics and will be the lead pulling analytics for online content, ad campaigns, ad sales activations and partner relationships. The position begins November 1, 2018 and will conclude on or around April 1, 2019.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with senior team, internal departments and external partners concerning coordination of Oscar-related initiatives.
  • Track content from pitch, development, production to post-production.
  • Track the success of content online content.
  • Track invoices throughout the season.
  • Convey and evangelize learnings from metrics results.
  • Liaise with partners and in support of digital initiatives for the Oscars.
  • Support the Digital, Editorial and Creative teams as needed.
 
Position Requirements
  • At least 3 years online media or digital publishing experience.
  • Social media writing experience (with ability to provide samples).
  • A fanatical obsession with proper spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Expert in respective strengths of (and differences between) all major social media networks/platforms.
  • Competency in online analytics, specifically Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and Twitter Analytics.
  • Experience in department accounting and invoicing.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive, with ability to juggle many balls in fast-paced digital publishing environment.
