Description

Function as Senior Essentris System Administrator and provide daily support to the Program Manager and Essentris Team

• Assist with deliverables and status updates to System Admin Staff

• Travels to MTF/Sites to fill vacant training positions, as required

• Provide additional site support during application upgrades or new products implementation

• Attend conference calls for upgrades and new products implementation; provide minutes for Stakeholder's review

• Coordinate instructional design work for new training materials in order to facilitate software enhancement and new products implementation

• Host bi-weekly calls with System Admin Team as required

• Prepare classroom, facilities, and necessary equipment for ESSENTRIS implementation support

• Provide critiques, training records, and assessments to the Program Manager for inclusion in the Monthly Report

• Conduct verbal and PowerPoint briefings, as necessary, to keep MTF staff advised of application updates and to provide necessary information regarding ESSENTRIS training to the staff

• Provide timely communications as required via teleconference, email, and other media as required

• Collaborate with MTF Information Technology (IT) Support Services to assist with helpdesk, trouble ticket entry and tracking, and system functionality checks in support of clinical users of the application.


• Be readily available to users and respond to user requests within one workday with follow up as necessary, dependent upon the nature and severity of the problem

• Maintain a contact log consisting of responses to: Help Desk requests, calls for application assistance, and user questions. Provide assistance in the development and submission of trouble tickets on an as needed and provide clinical user feedback on status/resolution and provide clinical user feedback on status/resolution of CIS and associated applications trouble tickets

• Perform ESSENTRIS functionality and health checks and report findings

• Ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken to permit user access to the applications

• Troubleshoot functional and technical problems with ESSENTRIS in conjunction with the MTF technical staff and assist in data gathering and analysis associated with CIS and associated application troubleshooting when there is an enterprise wide problem

• Support MTF staff to maintain current ESSENTRIS training tool installs, software installs, and upgrades as required to facilitate training at each MTF

• Complete tasks within reasonable and acceptable timeframes and per schedules

• Serve as the local principal ESSENTRIS support interface with the customer

• Shall not be authorized to commit or obligate the company to perform any activities not defined and agreed upon in the contract

• Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers and customers.

• Follow policies and procedures as described in corporate manuals and directives

• Carry out other duties as may be assigned or requested

 
Position Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in either one of the following fields: Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, Informatics, Healthcare Information Technology and three(3) years of IM/IT experience, or
  • Associate Degree in Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, Informatics, Healthcare Information Technology and not less than five (5) years of demonstrated IM/IT experience, or
  • Associate Degree in Nursing with not less than five (5) years of demonstrated IM/IT experience
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of DoD Clinical Information Systems, MS Office packages (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word), administrative procedures, and handling of personnel files and proprietary information
  • Require to have or obtain a completed favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
  • Must be available for travel to support MTFs worldwide
