SUMMARY

DAWSON is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Colorado Springs office. The Project Coordinator reports directly to the O&M Assistant Program Manager and Program Manager to provide support in all administrative matters. This is an entry-level position with substantial growth opportunities within the operations structure. The Project Coordinator will be working closely with all project management, trade labor personnel, and Subcontractor personnel. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently to accomplish all tasks in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong grasp of processes, attentional to detail, organization skills, and excellent computer skills able to operate a variety of software systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Support:

  • Expense Reporting
  • Time Reporting
  • Daily Reporting of field work
  • Purchasing
  • Cost Controls tracking
  • Certified Payroll Reporting
  • Provide miscellaneous support for project management and execution teams as assigned

Office Duties:

  • Admit office visitors and manage proxy card access
  • Answer phone calls; forward calls and messages to appropriate personnel
  • Collect mail, distribute accordingly, send packages, etc
  • Coordinate Corporate Events
  • Coordinate Travel and Lodging arrangements
  • Purchase and stock office supplies
  • Maintain office facilities to present a neat and professional work environment

Other Functions:

  • Participate in corporate community involvement activities
  • Provide support for technical writing and cost proposal teams
  • Provide support for Human Resources, Payroll, and Accounting teams

 
Position Requirements
  • Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to follow directions, manage time, and accomplish tasks within schedule while working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to pass a pre-hiring drug screen.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
