Job Description:

The Key Accout Manager role is responsible for developing and advancing Suja’s business partnership at Walmart using data, category insights and research coupled with an enthusiasm and passion for Suja’s mission. In addition, this person will help with category support on key retailers in the grocery and mass channels. This person will report into the SVP of Sales with a dotted line into the Senior Sales Director of Mass.

Responsibilities:

  • Continue to develop Walmart relationship by implementing collaborative business plans that deliver mutual growth; customizing, selling and implementing company strategies and executing best in class trade marketing programs
    • Build and deliver strategic customer presentations and reviews
    • Foster relationship with buying and replenishment teams
    • Manage day to day needs on the Walmart business
  • Manage and revise Walmart’s Sales Plan and Budget with the goal of growing revenues while thoughtfully managing trade and shopper spend. Collaborate with internal team on promo planning, trade management and post promo analysis to increase effectiveness.
  • Analyze brand performance to improve KPI’s through downloading, organizing and analyzing Retail Link data
  • Build relationships, influence, lead and train broker partner(s)
  • Work closely with Head of Mass to develop channel strategy that profitably maximizes sales growth
  • Assist in the creation of a positioning strategy on key accounts (Target, Kroger, Publix) using category management practices to help identify business opportunities
  • Provide thoughtful analysis and insights around market happenings to identify opportunities and gaps within key retailer plans
  • Create strategic selling stories to drive growth at key retailers
  • Actively participate in trade shows and customer shows
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2-4 Years Category Management and/or Account Management experience with Walmart
  • Bentonville based (Ideal), home office, with willingness to travel as required
  • Comfortable working in Retail Link
  • Proficient in analyzing syndicated data
  • Experience in sales planning, forecasting and trade spend management
  • Displays a bias for action; considers all options and then acts decisively as a self starter
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; strong analytical and problem solving
  • Experience in building cohesive PowerPoint presentations
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and highly ambitious
  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for the Health and Wellness Industry and Suja’s mission, values, and products
