Our Team:

The Sr. Cost Analyst develops the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) forecasts and performs monthly close responsibilities including analysis of actuals results. Assist with Balance Sheet account reconciliation and complete analysis to help provide management with clear and accurate reporting of business cost performance, risks and opportunities. Provide financial support to the manufacturing plant and Category business partners to ensure the execution of TDC Forecast and Close tasks. Responsible for ensuring sound financial controls are maintained. This position develops analytical, decision-making and communication skills as well as fostering a deep understanding of the TDC components of the supply chain.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for all forecast and close TDC activities including the development of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and monthly closes. Investigate and understand variances to plans.
  • Ensure that the cost accounting process is performed in accordance with corporate guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Actively participate in discussions regarding key commodity assumptions.
  • Successfully manage cost savings tracking & reporting.
  • Support the standard costing process. Ensure use of consistent methodology and provide the key drivers of change.
  • Provide key insights into the Product Supply Balance Sheet reporting (Inventory, Reserves, etc.)
  • Consistently demonstrate active financial leadership by partnering with cross-functional partners within Product Supply Organization (PSO), Finance, etc. in driving business results and meeting the business objectives.
  • Actively contribute towards business goals by providing insights.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Accounting from four-year college or university.
  • 2+ years of Cost Accounting and Finance & Accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and finance concepts is a must.
  • Manufacturing or CPG industry experience
  • SAP or other ERP systems experience .
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts with expertise in Cost Accounting, Financial Statements and GAAP
  • Financial modeling skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the Organization
  • Ability to create strong partnerships with PSO Organization and Finance functions. Comfortable dealing with all levels of management across the organization
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize and self-manage workload to meet deadlines
