Think you've got what it takes to come and join us?   Category Information Technology   Description Capital Mortgage Services is a 36 year old mortgage banking firm located in Lubbock Texas that is a Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae approved Seller Servicer. The servicing portfolio is passing through $3 Billion in mortgage servicing rights comprised of approximately 18,000 accounts located in 46 states and the US Virgin Islands. In April 2018, we made the considered decision to change our servicing systems to FICS. That conversion has been difficult. The resulting issues we believe deserve our immediate attention from both a training perspective as well as long term solutions. We are in dire need of a servicing employee who has experience with FICS who can help us navigate these new and uncharted waters. Plan, organize and train all departments on FICS Create/revise protocols for each department to ensure FICS is fully utilized Create sustainable training on FICS going forward Provides leadership through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts periodic staff meetings as required. Respond to FICS issues Coordinate with FICS to properly update/maintain/build/support systems for Capital Mortgage Services of Texas REQUIRED SKILLS Required Knowledge: Comprehensive familiarity with a spectrum of mortgage products and applicable operating policies and best practices. Comprehensive understanding of Mortgage related laws, rules and regulations. Familiarity with mortgage programs and investor requirements. Familiarity with FICS (5 years+ preferred) Experience Required: At least 5 years of progressive experience in mortgage servicing or management related positions. Experience servicing mortgage loans. Experience with the interpretation, application and implementation of mortgage laws, rules and regulations. FICS usage Administrative and supervisory experience required. Skills/Abilities: Superior leadership and supervisory skills. Ability to manage projects. Well organized. Strong communication skills that exude a professional image. Ability to work with associated mortgage department managers to implement workflow and other changes beneficial to the overall operation.
