Then Devereux has just the opportunity for you! We are looking for an Assistant Supervisor for Day Program (CSDP) to join our Devereux team in Goleta, California. This is a fulltime position. As an Assistant Supervisor you will provide services to adult individuals with multiple diagnoses such as, autistic spectrum disorders, emotional and/or behavioral disorders, mental disorders, dementia and other cognitive disorders, mental retardation, developmental disabilities, and medical conditions in our campus-based Day Program. Devereux's mission is to change lives and nurture human potential.

In addition to Direct Support responsibilities, the Assistant Supervisor is responsible for the following:

  • 30 Online hours / 10 Offline hours
  • Management of ADP petty cash funds

  • Staff scheduling and allocation per established staff/client ratios within ADP programs

  • Maintains, collects (from assigned staff) and enters all PSR compliance data

  • Oversees accurate and timely collection of client data by Direct Care Staff per individual client goals and objectives

  • Enters data into electronic health system

  • Plan and Creat Activitites for Clients, write Treatment and Behavioral Plans

  • Creates mileu support, schedules, and other materials

  • Must have the ability to work with individuals with moderate to severe challenging behaviors

  • Other duties as assigned by Day Program Administrator.

Job Requirements

- Bachelors degree in human services field. May substitute some education and related experience for education requirements. Proficiency using Word & Excel.

- Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor

- Have a strong passion for working with and helping adults with special needs-

Experience: 2 years of experience preferred.
