This position will be responsible for managing warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, inventory organization, warehouse and building maintenance, equipment cleaning, and general labor as needed. This position does not have direct reports and reports to our Service Manager. This team member’s responsibilities are: Receives, unpacks, verifies and records all incoming shipments. Packs, addresses, and documents all outgoing shipments. Assists customers by loading and unloading equipment needing serviced. Coordinate all shipments with appropriate shipping vendors. Maintain relationships with shipping vendors. Retains inventory at proper levels and within an organized manner. Inventory cycle counting. Some mechanical knowledge preferred, will do some motor assessment as needed. Drives to customer locations to deliver or pick-up equipment, when needed. Responsible for forklift training for the entire branch. Assists in general labor to maintain cleanliness and efficiency of the facilities. Continuous improvement of delivery, quality, efficiency and safety in their team. Works as a back up to our Service Coordinator position (Overflow work and PTO) Must have a working knowledge of personal computers including proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel Gmail, knowledge of Prophet 21 a plus. Must be able to multi-task such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills. Must have the general knowledge of basic mathematical computations.   Position Service Administrator / Shipping & Receiving   Position Requirements Our ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: • High school diploma or GED required. • Previous experience in warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving or inventory control is required. • Ability to physically lift heavy items required, up to 70 lbs. • Ability to drive a fork lift (or within 90 days of hire) required – training will be provided. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. • A high level of communication and organization skills required. • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
